The cafe was excellent and a beautiful spot to sit and eat a delicious meal.
As it's a garden, there isn't much shade when walking around so we didn't stop as long as I would normally.
The only saving grace was the Chinese gardens. Not cheap to visit £19.50 for 2!!We managed an hour and 10 minutes! Gardens were really poorly tended. Very disappointing.
A major highlight of the experience was the self-guided tour of the historic manor house. Getting to explore the building at our own pace with the curated information boards was fantastic. It offered a fascinating, deep dive into Jersey’s unique seigneurial heritage and past life on the estate without feeling rushed. We sat out on the terrace enjoying the picturesque views of the herb garden with some delicious homemade treats. The food was excellent, but what really made it stand out was the beautiful staff—everyone we encountered was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly. If you are visiting Jersey, this peaceful and historic destination is not to be missed!
