Beautiful drive along the valley road. Some nice photos of the dam and lake/ reservoir. Difficult to stop and take photos for a car driver. Beautiful walk under tall trees. Very quiet road and area make for a peaceful walk. Most of the walk is next to a little stream. The walk isn’t too far and quite flat. It is however quite rugged and not easily accessible to those with impaired mobility. We stopped parked up and had a walk around and what a beautiful area. Found a little pathway and had walked off a large lunch. It was free and beautiful and good exercise. It's a lovely walk near the reservoir and along the valley. Footpaths on the other side of the stream from the road. The giant willow toad is either no more or has wandered off. A lovely valley to drive through on the way to Hamptonne. Lots of reservoirs and the road is reasonably wide.
