Not much at Bouley Bay but a very pleasant few hours spent on the beach, on the pier and at Mad Mary's food van. Lovely quiet location with some nice walks and lovely scenery. Lovely place to stay, we also had amazing weather. The Fort is across 3 levels, not sure it would have the same appeal if it was raining as you have to go outside to reach each level. Bonus dogs are allowed. Definitely not a place to stay for people with mobility issues. Views are amazing you could never get tired of them. The wildlife was lovely we heard the bees in the morning and the birds occupy the cliffs surrounding you, it is quite common to see lizards sunning themselves which adds to the appeal of the Fort. The cafe in the bay sells a lovely apple pie. It is a pebble beach but the dogs didn't mind. The Fort isn't open to anyone if occupied however we had a few people pop up not realising anyone was staying there and we were more than happy to let them wander around as it's such an amazing place. A brilliant idea of Jersey heritage to rent out such a great piece of history Unique historical fort available for rent as accommodation! Isolated but situated on rugged coast, exposed to all the elements but
