This is an interesting place to visit. You can walk there during low tide. Unfortunately you cannot go in to the actual fort, which is private, otherwise I would recommend it. Walking out and around is still worth it, as there are some unique views, its just a shame the fort itself is not open to the public. A lovely walk out at low tide to explore, take photos and take on the views and ofcourse to find the cache tucked in and covered by a shell. Gorgeous walk out to here on a falling tide. Beautiful view and lovely sandy beach to play on and look for shells. Lovely place to visit if your into peace and quite with historical buildings. Can walk over when tide is out but be careful of tidel times . Never been here having lived in Jersey all my life. What a lovely peaceful and tranquil spot.
