A good yomp to the “Ayton” war memorial located just next to the (only) building you can see in my photos -Wolfs Lair, worth finding to pay respects to a true hero of the 2nd World War. Bit of a trek down, SBS memorial to see once there, the little house is private and not for public. Nice walk but never found the memorial. No signage. Good luck. My first i have been there ,but its so beautiful😍😍😍 Lovely walk with a memorial to a sad time. A reminder of a sacrifice that was made for our freedom today.
