It’s a beautiful spot for photographers, picnickers, and anyone who simply wants to enjoy the coastline. Facing west, the bay often delivers wonderfully truly stunning sunsets.
Possibly the most intact remnants of WW2 German Atlantic Wall. This beach would have been considered as most likely beach assault location and as such has concrete wall and bunker systems / fortifications along entire beach with Artillery batteries in hills to NW providing support.
