The environment is modern and airy. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable and helped me find ancestors I knew nothing about. I came away with a big smile and feeling well pleased. Thank you.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful.
The building is high quality and had generous-sized rooms, and good computer equipment.
There are lockable lockers for your bags.
The toilets are lovely.
The records did not seem to be well organised.
Compared to the UK, there seemed to be not that many records available.
Some records are indexed online, but not many.
I had hoped to find a lot of details about my grandfather but found almost nothing. Maybe the 1960s and 1970s are too recent???
