"Hohlgangsanlage" are a number of tunnel complexes constructed by the Germans using slave and forced labour during the Occupation. The tunnels would have had multiple roles from munitions storage, troop & equipment shelter, hospitals and many other functions.

Aaaaanyway, I was pumped when I saw there were tunnels to be had in and around the fort. I knew these were going to be exciting...based on multiple prior fort-tunnel experiences.
However, I was mortally disappointed to find that all the tunnels were blocked off with exceptionally uninteresting gates. Peering through the railings revealed further disappointment. I wouldn't have minded if I could see some actual tunnels, but they were filled with building tat and garbage.
I was more deflated than a punctured.whoopie cushion.
I like to only put positive things out into the universe, so I'll give it five stars and credit this to an ironically reverse-interesting talking point.
It's a 5-star disappointment - you'll never get that bit of wasted life back, and you'll have regretted even reading this review (though, obviously, it's too late to rescue you from that now, sorry). Your time will be better spent having dental treatment or completing your tax return.
In short, I've had tunnel vision that was more entertaining, so please, I beg you, don't bother.
