This is my favourite beach ever and I've been to a lot of beaches around the world. Theres lots of rocks to climb on and look at, there are caves (which you're not really meant to explore but lets face it, people will). Its a lovely beach to sit back and watch people or to simply explore the beach as you wish. There is a lovely café by the beach too with great views and lovely food. There are also some toilet facilities by the cafe and a car park nearby. If you just want to go to relax at beach then make sure you check the tide times incase its high tide as you will be disappointed that you will have no beach to go to, however there are many walks and things to look at in the area. Wonderful beach one of the best in europe . At low tide the beach turns into a vast sandy area of natural beauty and wonder. Rock pools appear with some really interesting rock formations and little marine life. The emerald tinted water can also be paddled and some even swim in. Theirs also a few waterfalls coming down from the cliff face. A truly wonderful experience. What a place ,the beach was perfect but watch them rocks there slippy, see photos ,the Piedmont cafe was amazing ,thanks for the help chef

The rock pools are what makes this beach special. Tiny fish are often left swimming around in them and boy are they hard to catch with just your hands. These rock pools are created a long way from the sea edge...they are nearer to where you first step on to the sand from the pathway down the cliff. There are caves to explore as well and this is where the best pools can be found.
If you have young children and are on holiday in Jersey, please visit Plemont Beach and let them run wild in the rock pools. The experience will stay with them forever, like it has with me.
