I placed my order at 1:34 PM.
At 2:26 PM, I called the restaurant because the food had not arrived yet — no one answered.
At 2:27 PM, I called again and was told that the food had been ready for 30 minutes and was “on its way.” Delays happen, so I tried to be understanding, even though the website clearly stated a 40-minute delivery time.
At 2:55 PM, I called once more to inform them the order still hadn’t arrived.
At 3:10 PM, when the food finally arrived, it was cold and completely unsafe to eat.
My husband called to explain the situation and emphasized that I am pregnant, but we were told they do not offer refunds, under any circumstances. Even after explaining the health risks, we were completely ignored.
I tried eating a small portion and ended up having episodes of vomiting, which is extremely concerning given my pregnancy.
I sent an email explaining everything in detail, and the only reply I received was: “we do not do refunds.” Seriously? They were more concerned about £47 than the health of a customer — especially considering that they admitted the food had been prepared long before and was sitting in a car for over 30 minutes, becoming unsafe for consumption.
I truly did not expect this type of treatment from a restaurant with such a high rating. They were unhelpful, dismissive, and showed no concern at all for the situation.
