+ The chips were like big pub-style chips and were fresh (unlike some takeaways that just fry frozen oven chips).
- The fries were tiny (very thin). Although they are skinny fries they weren't very substantial and lacked flavour.
- The burgers were quite plain and lacked general flavour. Although we got the original burgers (both chicken and beef) they lacked seasoning and flavour in the meat. I couldn't taste any buttermilk in my chicken burger.
- The beef burger was very dry and well overdone. It wasn't juicy and wasn't very good.
- The packaging is not the best - the chips were really stuck to the paper they were wrapped in and took me a long time to get them onto my plate. The tin foil the burgers were wrapped in also caused the buns to get wet through condensation. Unfortunately I had a very soggy burger.
Friendly and speedy service at an affordable price. Would highly recommend. Best burger I’ve had in Jersey for a long time
