Food average at best. Seafood linguinie very salty. Squid was rubbery. Fish and chips, fish was ok the 9 chips were passable mushy peas tepid. Nobody asked if food was ok, v disappointed.

The Mrs, Our Dog and I just breezed in off the bat for lunch and we were very happy. We were made very welcome and the young man who served us was very kind to our dog.
Great food, lovely atmosphere and a genuine wish to return fostered.

2 of us went to this pub based on reviews, citing it as the best gastro pub on Jersey and with 2 AA stars. We ordered the Ciabatas, one steak and one prawn. The prawn was at least edible but totally lacked flavour. The steak was the worst I have ever had. Each bite contained gristle and had zero flavour. At least the chips were decent. Service was very good from the solitary staff member but I would advise to skip the pub food completely. How a chef and proprietor could stand beside the fayre that was presented for the price asked for is just beyond me

If I could give no stars I would. We ordered garlic bread and chips just as a snack for the kids. We were given about 5 chips and the garlic bread was actually toast. I mean actually toast! In all my years of working in hospitality I have never seen this and would be embarrassed to work for an establishment who would serve toast as garlic bread.

So grateful ☺️ to the male member of staff who was able to offer us a quick ☕️ coffee. Arrived a little exhausted outside of lunchtime having cycled a long way 😳 tea and coffee served to us was delicious- lovely setting and once again grateful 🙏🏼

Food was excellent. The staff were very friendly and entertaining without being intrusive. The restaurant and pub both have a lovely atmosphere. Would definitely recommend!

It’s was lovely taste in food. Fresh and well presented. But the bun on the base was very cool and burger, mildly warm. Thin French fires would have needed longer in fryer.
Meat tastes organic and fresh. Good quiz night.
