The kids had a fantastic time crafting (and then devouring) their own pizzas.
A massive thank you to Lucy, who was absolutely brilliant with the group. She was incredibly engaging and—perhaps most importantly—wonderfully patient when the post-cake sugar levels started to peak.
It was a smooth, fun, and stress-free experience.

I’m new to the island and noticed a few people with pizza boxes on the beach, I instantly got FOMO and had to head up the steps to Pizza Express, assuming that’s where the pizza boxes had come from.
I waited in a small line, to be served, most in line were waiting to be seated, When a lady called Kayleigh greeted me with a smile, I asked if I could order a takeaway, she said yes of course (which I thought was amazing, pizza on the beach 😀) but Kayleigh warned me there’d be a wait. Music to my ears, nothing wrong with an extra hour of book time laid on a beach with the sun on your face and sand on your feet, especially when the alternative is unpacking a suitcase.
This is where the magic happened, I went to pay and discovered my phone had less battery life than I did. No wallet (it’s 2026, who even owns one of those?), no charge, no plan B. Kayleigh could have easily asked me to leave, instead she took it in her stride, whisked my phone off to charge behind the bar, and said she would tracked me down on the beach once the pizza was ready. An hour of solid reading, zero effort required on my part. Living the dream and my pizza arrived, along with my phone fully charged.
Back again tonight after yet another flight, and Lucy somehow worked the same magic, squeezed my order in while the place looked like it was hosting a party of 200. Calm under pressure, that one and really kind, to take an order whilst so busy.
Two visits, two pizzas, two absolute legends. Pizza Express St Brelade’s, take a bow. 👏👏👏
