Me and my partner do not have the habit to go out for lunch but today we wanted to make a repeat at Roast, where we had been only for breakfast. I have to be completely honest with you- that was exceptional experience. I had a burger and my partner eggs Benedict. The chef use only high quality products and I did not had such a juicy, but not messy burger from a very long time. My partner got doubled eggs as a compliment from chef and refused to share with me because they were that delicious 😋 The girl who was serving was really welcoming and she definitely knows how to make a proper milk shake! It's a must to visit!

Not long moved to Jersey on a long work contract, so still finding my way around but this is an ideal spot for good food, great coffee and the atmosphere is just right. Perfect level of attention and a good well cooked breakfast. Looking forward to more of the same over the next 12 months 😀

Great restaurant for a classic English breakfast! The bacon & sausage were SO good, we would go back just for that! The staff is very speedy and attentive, too.

Great breakfast, very good value.

Recommend the milkshakes due to how fresh they are!

Went for a big breakfast, see photo. The coffee and meaty elements were decent but the rest of the breakfast felt unloved which let it down. This makes it hard to rate it higher, especially for an over 8 quid full English (over 9 quid for me as I upgraded my coffee to a cappuccino). It is nice to have the option to have poached or scrambled but charging extra for it feels a bit cheap too.

I did however enjoy the look of the cafe and liked sitting in the window looking out to the passing cars. The waitress was also friendly and helpful.
