It's clearly a Jersey institution, and my girlfriend has heard so much about it over the years that she was keen to try it on her birthday, so we went with some friends.
The menu is extensive and the food is not bad but it's not amazing, either. The service is friendly & efficient and the place was packed.
£728 for six people with cocktails & wine. Not cheap.
Returned for a special anniversary lunch, having not eaten here in over 20 years! At La Capannina time stands still, and it's wonderful. It was exactly how I remember it, and you are so very well looked after. I absolutely loved every minute of our long leisurely lunch, a real treat. Thank you.
Fab, excellent service, with food served right in front of you in their trolleys, giving the Italian essence. Highly recommend: Lobster soup, Saddle of Lamb, and Tiramisu! The best.

The most tender and exquisite cut of lamb. amazingly good - the cranberry sauce with the gravy gives the perfect taste of sweetness and tastiness! I would definitely go back for this if I can.
