The rooms are of a standard affair, and on the cusp of the need to refurb.
This will not detract from your stay, as house keeping do a fantastic job of being attentive in the day, while you are out. Turn down service as standard, is a lovely touch.
The restaurant is of a high standard. Be prepared to pay for this level. Gym , spa are on site and part of your stay.
We had a great stay and I would definitely recommend you booking L'Horizon for your visit to the island.
What really made the stay exceptional was the staff. Every single member of the team was warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble, and they made the whole experience feel special.

We also had a family afternoon tea which included children and we were impressed with the options. The kids afternoon tea was amazing.

It’s far from st Helier but who complains when you breath by the sea.

Really quick and easy flights from Heathrow and a £12 cab from the airport (There is a bus to St Brelade's but they are infrequent). We were met at the entrance by Tony who took our bags. As our flight was early our room wasn't ready but Tony had some ideas of what we should do. Around 2.30pm we received a phone call from reception to say our room was ready. Tony had already delivered our bags to the room.
The room (on the top floor which made the view even better) was of a nice size and the balcony looked right out onto the sea and bay. It was spectacular. The room had a very comfortable bed as well as TV, coffee/tea making facilities. Fridge with bottle of water and a pint of Jersey milk. The bathroom was big and very clean.
There was a turn down service available to us but we never used it.
The spa was great. 10 m pool. Hot Tub (for me could have been hotter but thats just me). Brand new Sauna and steam room. The gym is compact but good enough for a quick workout.
Breakfast was delicious. At the weekend it is a buffet and with a fantastic choice. Weekdays you order from the menu. Pedro, Alina and the staff were so lovely and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. On our last day I had the eggs Benedict and my wife had the waffle. Both were great.
We had room service on our first night which came promptly and no tray charge!
As we were off season, the grill restaurant wasn't open but tables were put aside in the bar. The food was exceptional. I had a steak and my wife the monkfish. As it was our anniversary we had cocktails to start, main course and shared a pudding with a post dinner liqueur. Total price £124.00 and well worth it.
From the outside the hotel could look a little tired but inside it was delightful and perfect for us.
St Brelade's is a perfect location.
Stay away from St Helier.
Hire a car! It makes life so much easier and we found most places on the island had free parking.
A fantastic few days away with lovely friendly people and staff and great walks and history along the way. We didn't want to come home.
