L'Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa

I’ve just had the most wonderful stay at L’Horizon hotel. Stunning location - right on the beach, great for a reflective solo stay. My room was a sea view and it was gorgeous and cozy. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable I have experienced in any hotel and I slept deeply until morning each night. Nice to have a bathrobe and it was very soft and comforting. The bathroom looked like it was recently renovated and was very clean and modern. The only things I would have liked is a hand held shower piece in the bath, a night light around the bathroom mirror and an extra socket around the bedside table (the single socket is used by the bedside lamp). But these are minor gripes, and more than made up for by the wonderful service from staff: at breakfast, bar man and colleagues, and of course Tony, Shianne, and Ethan at the front desk who were great at helping me maximise my time in Jersey, recommending places to visit and explaining the bus logistics (super convenient bus stop right outside hotel that goes to St Helier and other places). Breakfast was a great start to the day - a continental buffet, as well as hot breakfast items you can order at your table (menu is on the hand picked website), lots of lovely things to eat in the lounge throughout the day, great and efficient room service. I will say, as someone visiting from London, I wasn’t used to museums and some shops/cafes being ‘closed for the season’, in January, as well as shops closing at 4pm. This is fine, as I was still able to enjoy enough to keep me occupied for 4 days - but it’s a great reason to visit again, and when I do, you bet I’ll be staying at L’Horizon!
