What a surprise then when the "Croque" appeared. It was an absolute delight on the pallate. Quite rich and indulgent but just what I needed on a cold day. It was quite simply unique. Imagine the beat Croque monsieur you've ever had crossed with the concept of a savoury bread and butter pudding.
Apparently it's pressed overnight to achieve the incredible texture. It has delightful serrano ham inside it and has a beautiful warming flavour.
The staff inside the restaurant were very welcoming, professional and friendly. The service was fast and the chef engaging when I asked how they made the dish.
Very highly recommended.
