The food was absolutely amazing, with every dish cooked to perfection. The service was equally impressive. The team were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming throughout our visit.
A special thank you to everyone for going above and beyond for our boys, who absolutely love your Boudin Noir (black pudding) dish.
Unfortunately today, which was my first visit, I had the ‘Proper Hank Marvin’ breakfast and found it to be largely overcooked across the board.
The bacon, black pudding and eggs were devoid of all moisture which, whilst I could appreciate they were quality ingredients, didn’t do them any justice.
My wife had the pancakes which were fantastic, so maybe it was just a bad day to be a piece of bacon?
I won’t be rushing back.
The menu is incredible, varied, interesting and changes seasonally and the stagf are very friendly and welcoming.
The food steals the show, everything is made fresh to order with locally sourced fresh produce, and subsequently the flavours blow you away. Absolutely sublime. The food is presented with style and looks as good as it tastes.
I couldn't recommend this highly enough, having travelled far and wide across the world even, yoid b very hard pressed to beat the flavour and quality of the food made here.
Well worth the stop!
