Details

Nestled in the tranquil countryside of St Peter, Jersey, Hideaway Motorhome Stopover offers a peaceful retreat away from the island's bustling areas. This adults-only stopover provides a secluded atmosphere, shielded by leafy trees and shrubs, making it an ideal base for those seeking a quiet escape. While providing a sense of being off the beaten track, it remains conveniently located just a short distance from Jersey's beautiful beaches, local shops, charming cafés, and restaurants. Its position in the central-west part of the island also grants easy access to numerous cycling and walking tracks, perfect for exploring the stunning natural surroundings.

As a dedicated motorhome stopover, Hideaway offers essential facilities for self-contained vehicles. Guests can choose from a limited number of hardstanding pitches, each equipped with water and a 10-amp electric hook-up. The site also provides convenient amenities for grey water and toilet cassette disposal. It is important to note that the stopover does not feature on-site toilet or shower blocks, requiring all motorhomes to be fully self-sufficient. Well-behaved dogs are welcome by arrangement, and car parking is available by each pitch.

Hideaway Motorhome Stopover is best suited for adults travelling in self-contained motorhomes who are looking for a serene and peaceful holiday or staycation. Its adults-only policy ensures a quiet environment, making it an excellent choice for couples or individuals seeking relaxation and a base for outdoor activities like cycling and walking. Due to the lack of on-site communal facilities, it is not suitable for those without onboard amenities or families with children.

Sehr teuer und sehr unfreundliche Kommunikation. Schade, aber es gibt in der Nebensaison keine anderen Optionen

Very basic - water, EHU, waste disposal. That’s it. Suited us very well for an off season visit. Tucked away, relatively sheltered, only five pitches. The daytime noise from the stone place next door wasn’t enough to bother us. We have electric bikes - easy access to the island - Helier is within range. A friendly man arrived after we had settled and gave us a visitors map to the island.

Booked to stay here last week but on arrival found it to be unsuitable for dogs & not a very nice place to stay for more than a car park. We had already paid in advance but did not want to stay as there are much better & cheaper places to stay on the island. I rang the owner who didn’t answer so I’ve emailed several times asking for a refund but they have not answered. They have kept £168 of my money & we didn’t stay. We will be taking this further but not what I would expect from any decent person.
