Very much enjoyed my week staying here.
Gerry and Gloria are the most nicest and genuine people ever , and the food was fantastic.
When we return to Jersey there is only one place to stay "Avoca Villa Guest House" .
If I was allowed to award a higher score I would.
I've much appreciated the typical english breakfast and the kindness of Gloria, who did all she could to make our stay as pleasant as possible. She is easy going and friendly. The guest house is not far away from St Hélier's centre (roughly 10-minute walk), which facilitates the stay.
The only drawbacks are the noise that can be heard when your room flanks the road, and sometimes, if you don't have a private bathroom, you may not have a warm shower
We paid for two nights weeks ago. 212 British pounds. Our ferry from St. Malo was cancelled due to bad weather two days before. The policy of this place is no refunds, and they stick by it. Be forewarned!
