It's always nice when those on reception take the time to have a chat.
The pool was shaded from the wind so was a sun trap.
Decor was dated however the price point is very reasonable, and we found the hotel to be very clean throughout.
The hotel was really welcoming and spacious with good facilities for guests. There is a large bar area, including a pool table. The dining area is separate with plenty of tables to suffice.
The outside space is really nice with a garden area that is divided from the pool area. The garden provides plenty of seating and tables and is nicely set up and comfortable. The pool is a nice size surrounded by sun loungers and includes table tennis. This would be perfect for young families and is a safe and secure setting.
Our room was a good size, although quite basic, it provided all the necessities that was needed, including a safe. The room was clean, well presented, and well maintained with daily housekeeping. The bed was comfortable, giving us a good nice sleep. The room was peaceful and we weren't disturbed by any unwanted noise.
The staff were great, really welcoming, courteous, and helpful in every aspect. This applies to reception, bar and dining, and housekeeping staff.
We were even allowed to leave our luggage in reception, once we had checked-out as our flight back to the UK wasn't until the evening.
We were really pleased with our stay at the Norfolk Hotel and would highly recommend this place to stay for a comfortable and relaxing addition to your holiday.

Older folks seem to love blasting their TV into the early hours of the morning preventing sleep to other paying guests.
There is a bus stop opposite the hotel and a Morrisons Daily store two minutes away.
The staff are very friendly and chatty, the rooms are clean but the fittings are dated; in particular there's a paucity of sockets in the rooms, particularly round the bed so charging devices overnight needs a long cable.
The staff were first class! Everyone was friendly and did everything they could to ensure the perfect holiday experience. Entertainment was also very good. We enjoyed it so much we have rebooked immediately on our return home. Can’t praise highly enough.Great hotel!!
Rooms were clean with lots of storage but check the net curtain out in room 202, it needs washing or changing. Restaurant staff excellent and very accommodating, Maria was especially along with Caleb very hard working.
The pool area was great, plenty of room and the pool was clean.
Breakfast was lovely
Definitely be coming back next year but for longer this time
