The room was comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities. The shower was fine. There was however, since my last stay, no breakfast option, and they only send a cleaner after your stay- although you can request extras. So the bin got a bit full as I was there a few days.
Very noisy upstairs for the first few evenings- with noisy treading on floorboards. My next door neighbour was awake making some real noise and you could hear everything well into the small hours- they were very antisocial!
Good location- a bit of a walk into town but fine.

What a terrible first night we had. Loud noise from other rooms in the property, shouting and swearing, the wires to the above lighting were exposed as the rose was not fitted. The mains wiring to plug sockets were exposed as had fallen away from the landing walls. The ironing board was broken. The toilet was positioned against the sink and you had to limbo trained to use. We had paid for seven days and only stayed the one night! We were desperate to vacate this doss hole! This was an awful very expensive holiday. We found other suitable hotels. We have yet too have any apology from the owner. Truly terrible accommodation. Don't be fooled by the website! It states best house in Jersey and has two high class restaurants, this was over 10 years ago and has not been updated! It has had several owners since. The credibility is very doubtful and certificates in the accommodation show over 10 years ago and irrelevant to this owner. Avoid at all costs as a awful place to stay

A good budget guest house. The room did its job and was clean.
Only saw the caretaker once as there was no reception.
Check-in was rather strange, it says online check-in is from 12:00-14:00 however they were fine with me arriving later. When I arrived the front door was closed and had a number for the caretaker but the number didn't work but luckily there was a door bell.

Everything was just right, Landlady Jackie very warm & welcoming I have been to this Guest house now 4 times now and every time been looked after very well.
Once your meet & greet is done Jackie thou always available allows you to unwind & relax during your stay but if you need anything just ask she will always help
