We got a room upgrade & 2 welcome drinks at the bar. Check-in and checkout process very quick. It was an amazing experience visiting The Best Western Royal Hotel in Jersey
We didn't like the breakfast. It's just run of the mill, basically just catering food for the masses.
exception. So helpful and any minor issues were addressed immediately. We were given a room upgrade and really enjoyed this experience. Unfortunately the shower was almost unusable due to the extremely poor water pressure. However there was a bath, and we were offered another room to use the shower. The excellent service, and happy staff made for a great stay at the Royal Hotel Jersey. I'm sorry I don't recall all the names but special thanks go to Charity, Jay, the hotel manager, and Maritza the reservations manager.

But it was the fantastic staff in the bar and all the hotel, that made our stay so special.

There is something fundamentally wrong with the ventilation of the hotel. I've been in places with no A/C but stayed cool and comfortable.
Few other things about the room/s: It looked like the inside was renovated, but it must've been done on a bargain budget. The showerhead holder doesn't hold the showerhead, taps in awkward positions, power points in places for wiring's convenience rather than yours, pillows less supportive than my Asian parents, floor creaks from people existing upstairs.
At check out, all they could do was offer us a drink, even tried to downplay the situation despite us repeatedly saying how unbearable it was.
Jersey is lovely, don't let this place ruin your holiday, or comfort, or sanity.
