Only problem we faced is lifting suitcase, as the lift doesn't go directly to all the rooms. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Some service was a little slack but on the whole, very good. Possibly more training for younger staff members. Everyone was very helpful and polite though.
Stayed in a pool view room at far end so was lovely and quiet away from the pool with spectacular views. Room was very clean albeit a bit small but set out very well. Would have liked a mini fridge.
Hotel is tastefully decorated and the restaurant offers a good menu for all.
Breakfasts were very good with a wide selection on the buffet but also has a menu to order from.
Staff throughout the hotel were all very helpful and friendly.
Hotel pool was lovely too with sunbeds to relax and enjoy a cocktail 🍸

My 4 day stay was so much nicer than being in a “corporate” hotel.
It has the “old school” vibe which I liked a lot.
No elevator, lots of stairs for the upper rooms.
I had a great view of St. Aubin’s Bay and the cool breeze from the open window was great.
Nice bathroom, excellent towels and good shower.
Nice mattress with good linens, good TV (with subtitles !)
Service was excellent, cleaned room and morning breakfast.
If you need a bus, it’s a long steep walk to the road, but the beach is very close, once you get to the road.

Breakfast was good, well cooked, with good choice. One thing I would add, ( a personal thing) fried eggs! Like most hotels the eggs were pre-cooked and not to my taste.
The hotel had a good range of drinks, alcoholic and non alcoholic with beers wine and cocktails to order
The jewel in the crown- the hotel staff, those lovely peope who served food, and drink with a smile and never looked tired, and were never impatient. But of all these, by far the nicest was Maurine, who serviced the rooms. She worked very hard, but she greeted us each morning with a lovely smile, and an enquiry about our plans for the day, and then bid us enjoy the day. Such a cheerful lady.

Spotlessly clean, small but well appointed room looking over the bay of St Aubin. Balcony. Staff extremely friendly and helpful.
Food excellent and bar well stocked. A walk up hill from the bus stop but not too long(5minutes)
Would really like to return one day.

It was the last day that the hotel was open before closing for the winter and the staff absolutely deserve a well earned rest as they work so hard.
Look forward to staying at this hotel again in the future.
We stayed in a family suite with our two young children. Unfortunately, directly outside our window there was a local’s 30th birthday party with a DJ, loud Ibiza-style dance music and heavy bass. The music and dancing continued until around 11:30pm, making it impossible for our children to settle properly until the party ended.
Had we been a couple in our 20s looking for somewhere to have dinner and dance with a fantastic view, it might have been a very different experience. The problem is that we were staying in a room specifically marketed as a family suite, and we received no advance warning that there would be a late-night party and DJ immediately outside our window.
This was particularly problematic because the room had no air conditioning, so keeping the windows closed wasn’t a realistic option in the warm weather.
The location and views are excellent, but the hotel seems to be suffering from something of an identity crisis. If family rooms are going to be located next to an area used for late-night parties, guests should be warned clearly in advance. Had we known our young children would effectively be unable to sleep until 11:30pm, we would not have booked this hotel for a family holiday.
A real shame, because the setting is fantastic, but the experience was not what we reasonably expected from a family stay.
