Nestled in the tranquil heart of rural St Ouen, The Palms Campsite & Oasis Cafe offers a peaceful and friendly escape in Jersey's picturesque Channel Islands. This small, family-run site provides a relaxed atmosphere, ideal for those seeking to unwind amidst beautiful surroundings. Situated in the island's west, it boasts proximity to the renowned St Ouen's Bay, famous for surfing, as well as the scenic Grève de Lecq and Plémont Bay, perfect for swimming and exploring rock pools. Guests can also enjoy beautiful views of the local countryside, the coast of France, and the sister islands of Guernsey and Sark, with easy access to walking and cycling routes, and a convenient bus route to St. Helier.

The campsite accommodates motorhomes, campervans, caravans, and tents on quiet, secluded, and level pitches, some featuring boundary hedges. The Palms Campsite is also dog-friendly, welcoming well-behaved dogs in designated areas.

The Palms Campsite & Oasis Cafe primarily caters to adults looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday or staycation, with strict quiet times observed. While children over the age of five are welcome, the site does not offer dedicated play areas or facilities for younger children, encouraging them to be entertained off-site or on their own pitch. This makes it an ideal choice for couples, adults, or families with older children who appreciate a serene environment and are keen to explore Jersey's natural beauty through activities like walking, cycling, surfing, and various water sports. It's also suitable for those seeking a tranquil base to simply relax and reconnect with nature.

Highly organised camping & motorhome site. It has its own cafe ( very tasty meals throughout the day, with afternoon cakes pastries);also there is a good sized swimming pool, adjacent to the veranda of the bar (clubhouse type). This has a nice atmosphere when campers are in & it's also open to locals & guests.
The pitch size is generous & has a border hedge for separation, adds to the privacy nicely.
Toilets & showers are spotless, water can be a tad too hot.
The owners and staff are very engaging , friendly & professional.
I hope to visit again.

A truly lovely campsite with beautifully layed out pitches, each surrounded by tastefully positioned mature shrubbery and wonderful palms trees. The entire site is always spotless and maintained to a high standard. Grass & hedging trimmed regularly, even the paths are pot hole free! The silence as the evening approached was wonderful, so peaceful and relaxing. Waking up to the sound of birds was so nice. The ease in which we felt part of the site made it difficult to leave! You can see that the owners are themselves campers, so for us as ‘temporary visitors’ we benefit from what they would want to experience themselves; and what a fantastic job they’ve done! The owners, Janie & Frankie, are often seen around the site, and always have a smile or a pleasant word for you. And the same goes for the other members of the team, always busy doing things. The toilet & shower block was spectacularly clean, at all times! Bus stop literally just outside the entrance with a good timetable. Nice cafe, bar & swimming pool on site. My only slight negative comment, and it doesn’t give me any pleasure in using the word ‘negative’ for this truly wonderful site, the size of the shower cubicles (a few others mentioned it also whilst we were there) But having spoken with the owner Janie she assured me it’s on their to-do-list. They’ve done so much in the few years in creating this magical place, they can’t do everything at once, so it’s understandable things take time. She’s fully aware of the cubicle issue and could possibly move the door panels closer to the sinks to provide the few more inches inside the cubicle. We’ll what more can we say, other than - we will be back! Thank you Janie, Frankie and your team for sharing your special site with us and making a lifetime memory!

Jane and staff were very welcoming, friendly and informative. Lovely quiet site with discreet areas for campervans and tents. All facilities to hand and the bus stop is right outside so need to use your vehicle once installed
