The staff were very welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for us. The rooms were very nice and the beds and linen were excellent
The daily room cleaning was done to a very high standard and the hotel was spotless everywhere. another plus point is the amazing breakfast which was included in our price
On our last evening we had a meal for six in the restaurant and it was fabulous. I can't recommend the cheeseboard enough as it was huge (do not sit too close to it though ) this place really made me feel at home largely to the Maître De who remembered the small details which really makes all the difference to your stay
This is not a cheap hotel but I think it was worth every penny and you get what you pay for
All of our party had a wonderful time and will return in the future

The beautiful wooden carved Chapel is outstanding.
Our great sadness is company policy. Our ferry was cancelled on Monday and again on Friday because of the wind. Only the Lord has control over the wind. But this meant our 4 night stay became 2 nights.
Company policy is, understandably, cancelled nights must be paid for in full.
Including the 4 nights for the dog. A case of caveat emptor, let the buyer beware.
My wonderful husband bought me to fulfill a promise made over 40 years ago.
I hope this is helpful to someone else. Others were in the same boat.

I wish we could stay here all the time on our regular visits to Jersey! Staff are lovely and attentive. The manor itself is absolutely beautiful, the rooms are huge and luxurious, and the food is delightful.
We would love to visit again in the summer just to make use of the pool.
The hall proudly displays a Michelin Key (the hotel equivalent of a restaurants' Michelin Star).
We stayed in a beautiful Suite looking across the pool and gardens. The Suite was roomy, beautifully and tastefully finished, with the most exquisite bedding. Everything was immaculate.
We chose a tasting menu, which our pregnant daughter joined us for. The menu was adapted to accommodate pregnancy dietary restrictions at the hotel staffs' suggestion - again with a friendly smile. The food was incredible, and the wines that were paired for us were all new to me, and will all be on my list to acquire for my own cellar in the future. Fabulous.
The pool, which we didn't go in (this was a visit in February) was clean - very very clean, which takes a real effort at this time of year. I shouldn't tell you, but there is a wonderful hot-tub tucked away by the Spa and Wine Cellar. We visited it a number of times, and had it to ourselves. Again, the area was immaculate despite the sometimes challenging weather conditions.
There is a fabulously well stocked wine cellar, which I took pleasure in just admiring through the window - this is a truly awe-inspiring view. One day, I hope to find time for a visit inside !

We recently stayed at this incredible hotel, and to say it is exceptional is an understatement. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome, almost like we were part of the family.
The management here is a prime example of how a luxury hotel should be run. Every single member of the staff is exceptional. They have an incredible ability to anticipate your needs—they never need to check or hesitate, they just know exactly what you want and deliver it with a genuine smile. Absolutely nothing is too much trouble for them.
To add to the experience, the food is excellent and paired with a superb wine selection. I simply cannot praise the hotel, the management, and the outstanding staff enough. 10 out of 10 in absolutely everything. We cannot wait to return!
